Nothing but pure water: Saubermacher opens the first Zero Waste plant!


After intensive research and development Saubermacher launched a high-tech plant for the processing of industrial waste water at a total cost of 6.5 million euros yesterday. Attending the launch, apart from the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management Andrä Rupprechter, were Active Governor Franz Voves and government official Johann Seitinger together with the Executive Director Dagmar Heiden-Gasteiner and Ralf Mittermayr, as well as majority owner Hans Roth the starting impulse of the most recent innovation from Saubermacher.

Saubermacher expands and acquires a holding in the European market leader in battery recycling.


Saubermacher has acquired a 55 % holding in recycling specialist REDUX. Founded in 1997 and located near Frankfurt, REDUX is the European market leader in the area of battery sorting, processing und recycling with annual turnover of approximately EUR 10 million.
