Saubermacher
As Austria’s leading private waste disposal and recycling company, Saubermacher is regarded as the competent partner for all environmental issues in both Austria and all neighbouring countries. The company, which was founded in 1979 by Hans and Margret Roth as Roth-Umweltschutz GmbH, continues its dynamic growth trend and now recruits approximately 2,700 employees in Austria and abroad generating an annual turnover of over EUR 200 million.
In the fields of waste collection and waste disposal, Saubermacher services 400 local authorities and 25,000 customers in trade, commerce and industry in Austria alone. Furthermore, we also contribute to the development of modern environmental standards in a new Europe with 40 foreign joint ventures and locations in Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Macedonia.
A network of partner companies enables Saubermacher to also offer area-wide solutions.

Saubermacher goes to every effort to be able to offer its customers an almost seamless waste disposal chain — from waste bins or multi-bin systems in front of homes to collection and further processing then recycling and waste disposal in special facilities. Services not only include collecting, weighing, splitting and
recycling municipal, industrial and hazardous waste, but also sewer services, oil separator maintenance, environmental analyses, disposal of waste electrical equipment, event waste disposal, sewage sludge recycling, road sweeping, industrial cleaning and treatment of hazardous waste. Customised waste management solutions contribute to minimising waste disposal costs and optimising business and municipal waste management.
