New public private partnership in Velenje/Slovenia

     
In January 2003, Saubermacher has founded a new public private partnership in Velenje/Slovenia. The company with a 50% participation of Saubermacher is called PUP – Saubermacher d.o.o.

PUP – Saubermacher d. o. o. has 35 employees disposing 8 municipalities (Velenje, Šoštanj, Smartno, Paki, Gornji Grad, Nazarje, Lubno, Luce and Solcava) with more than 50 000 inhabitants and 12 vehicles for the collection of household waste and containers.

Zoran Rodic

The managing director of PUP – Saubermacher d. o. o. is Mr. Zoran Rodic. He was born in Slovenj Gradec in 1967 and is mechanical engineer. With Mojca, his partner, he has a two year old son. One of his favourite hobbies is certainly karate because Mr. Rodic has been karate champion repeatedly and is black belt master. In 1991, he even took part in the Olympic Games in Mexico City and started his career as karate master in the karate clubs of Velenje, Šoštanj, Piran und Nova Gorica, lasting for more than 9 years.
